Senior Partner

Mr. Dingake was admitted as an attorney, conveyancer and notary public of the High Court and other courts of Botswana in 2006 after completing his LLB Degree the same year with the University of Botswana.  He has worked for Boko Motlhala & Co and Modimo & Associates where he became the Managing Partner for two (2) years until he resigned to establish DLP. His areas of interests include industrial labour relations; public procurement; conveyancing; matrimonial; corporate and commercial. Mr. Dingake has worked at the University of Botswana, Department of Law, part-time for two (2) years as a teaching assistant in public law stream of Diploma in Law where he taught Administrative Law; Human Rights Law in Botswana; Advanced Criminal Litigation and Constitutional Law. Mr. Dingake provides a consultancy and/or training with Connect Resources in­ the new Companies Act; corporate governance and industrial labour relations. Mr. Dingake is also a Secondary Trainer on Industrial Labour Relations & Employment Law with Exelle.

Our Mr. Dingake is a Member of Council, Law Society of Botswana and Member of the Technical Reference Group on Children in Conflict with the Law (UNICEF). He has attended the following conferences, 17th -18th November 2011, Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa; SADC SYMPOSIUM ON ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOCUSING ON INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATION IN THE SADC REGION; 25th – 27th May 2011, Cape Town, South Africa; Southern African Regional Seminar on International Commercial Law in Africa;  24th – 27th August 2009, Sun Bird Capital, Lilongwe, Malawi; Eastern and Southern African Inter-Governmental Meeting on Justice for Children; 29th March 2008, Gaborone Sun, BONELA/Law Society of Botswana/AIDS Law Project/South Africa Litigation centre; Workshop on Human Rights and HIV/AIDS and 1st – 4th November 2007, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Harare, Zimbabwe; Symposium on the Rule of Law, Human Rights, Constitutionalism and the Constitution-making Process in the SADC Region. Mr. Dingake attended short course on corporate and commercial law on the 3rd – 7th August 2007, University of Botswana; Commercial Law Program. (Topics extensively covered (1) forms of business corporate governance; (2) formation of enterprises; (3) shareholder’s agreement (4) capitalization; and (5) negotiating and drafting sales agreements, transactions and pricing).

Mr. Dingake has been engaged by Women Against Rape (WAR) to do a consultancy on Defilement and recently by International Labour Organisation (ILO) to draft regulations on hazardous work done by Children.

Mr. Dingake is a forth nightly columnist with the Botswana Gazette newspaper.

Mr. Dingake has been a member of the Botswana Football Association National Disciplinary Committee since April 2013 to January 2016. In August 2016 to date he was appointed to Chair the BFA Disciplinary Committee.
